Dr. Tilak Siyambalapitiya breaks the SILENCE

Dr. Tilak Siyambalapitiya, an international Energy Consultant as well as the Director of Resource Management Associates (Pvt) Ltd unfolds the present greatest problem in the Sri Lankan power system, "Absence of Demand Side Management". He points out that electric transportation along with railway electrification can significantly assist in managing the demand in the off-peak. He further explains the need of rapid implementation of technologically advanced techniques in order to solve the problems with Demand Side Management in an innovative manner.
