Thisandu Kahingala
Thisandu Kahingala is an electrical engineering undergraduate of University of Moratuwa. He has worked as a trainee engineer in Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), Lanka Electricity Company (LECO), Yughanavi power plant and LTL Transformers (Pvt.)Ltd. Power generation, control engineering and power electronics are the most prominent of his interests related to Electrical engineering. Thisandu believes that maintaining the right energy mix as a country massively accounts for the betterment of its power and energy sector
Muditha Karunathilake
Muditha Karunathilake is an undergraduate at University of Moratuwa studying electrical engineering. She was a trainee electrical engineer at Ceylon Electricity Board, Lanka Electricity Company (Pvt) Ltd and Amithi Power Consultants (Pvt) Ltd. She is mostly interested in electrical installations, power systems and renewable energy generation. She believes that Sri Lanka should get the maximum benefits of freely available solar and wind energy and at the same time demand side management is the most important aspect of electrical industry in Sri Lanka at present.
Sanjeewa Madurawala
Sanjeewa Madurawala is an Electrical Engineering undergraduate of University of Moratuwa. He studied at Central College Kuliyapitiya. He has worked in Switchyard construction project of Biomass power plant Ampara and New Galle – Ambalangoda transmission line projects as a trainee engineer for BELA International (Pvt.) Ltd. He has also completed training in Ceylon Electricity Board and Lanka Electricity Company (Pvt.) Ltd. Power Generation, Electrical Installations and Renewable Energy are his preferred sectors. He is inspired by the popular saying “Nothing is Impossible”.
ChathuraSenanayake
Chathura Senanayake is an Electrical Engineering undergraduate of Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Moratuwa. He has worked at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), Lanka Electricity Company (LECO) and LTL Holdings (Pvt.) Ltd. and gathered extensive experience as an electrical engineering apprentice. His research interests include Renewable Power Generation and currently investigating novel areas of Demand Side Management.
Dilini Darmawardana
Striving to excel in the field of Electrical Engineering, Dilini Darmawardana is an Undergraduate of the University of Moratuwa (Sri Lanka), following the degree program of BSc. Engineering. Her interests include power electronics, renewable energy and power systems. Having completed her industrial training at the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), Lanka Electricity Company (LECO), LTL Transformers (Pvt.) Ltd. and Yughanavi power plant she is eagerly waiting to follow the footsteps of the great engineers whose sweat and toil have uplifted her motherland to the level it relishes today.
Praveen Amarajeewa
Praveen Amarajeewa is an Electrical Engineering undergraduate of University of Moratuwa. He was a trainee engineer in Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), Lanka Electricity Company (LECO) and Balfour Beatty Engineering Services. He is interested in power generation, power system protection and renewable energy. He is willing to actively participate in overcoming the challenges in the field of electrical engineering, with his analytical and technical skills.
Pasan Gunawardena
Pasan Gunawardena is an Electrical Engineering Undergraduate of University of Moratuwa. Electricity generation, power system protection, power electronics and automation are the fields of his interest. He has worked at Ceylon Electricity Board, Lanka Electricity Company (Pvt.) Limited and Balfour Beatty Engineering Services Ceylon (Pvt.) Limited as an Engineering trainee. With his knowledge coupled with the exposure to practical working environments, he believes in overcoming the issues in the field of technology through creativity and innovation. And all his endeavors towards that end are guided by the motto "Failing to plan is planning to fail".
Thivanka Munasinghe
Thivanka Munasinghe, a past student of ST. Anne’s college Kurunegala, is an Electrical Engineering undergraduate of university of Moratuwa. He completed his industrial tanning program at the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), Lanka Electricity Company and Power Engineering Solution division of DIMO (Pvt.) Ltd. He has worked as a trainee electrical engineer at Transmission System Strengthening Grid Substation Project of Ceylon Electricity Board and has an exposure of high voltage installation and power system operation. He contributes as an active member of EnergyzEE team to achieve its goals.
Mahesh Rathnayake
Mahesh Rathnayake was born in Anuradhapura and is a past student of Anuradhapura Central College. He entered university of Moratuwa in 2010 and is currently studying at the department of Electrical Engineering. Among many of his interests, electrical installation and industrial automation are prominent. He has worked as a trainee engineer at John Keels Residential Properties, Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and Lanka Electricity Company (LECO). His projects are focused mainly on home automation.

Suchira Athuraliya
Suchira Athuraliya is an Electrical Engineering undergraduate of University of Moratuwa. His interests include power generation, electrical installation and computer programming which made him as a technical member for maintaining and developing the “Energyzee” blog. Suchira was a trainee engineer in Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), Lanka Electricity Company (LECO) and State Development and Construction Corporation (SD&CC).
Arjuna Weerasinghe
Arjuna is an old boy of Maliyadeva College who has a real passion of electronics design and industrial automation. He has been actively participating for energyzEE mission since its inception. He would crave to work with personalities who are serious about industrial automation, as far as field of electrical engineering is concerned. With his industrial automation exposure during industrial training program in UNILEVER manufacturing facility he would be able to serve for the betterment of EnergyzEE and country as well.
